1837 Schoolgirl Sampler, Deerfield NY

Provenance: Sampler descended through the family of Jane Mummery, born in England, 1825. She emigrated to America with her family, settling in Deerfield, NY, about 2 miles north of Utica. She died in 1905. Sampler reframed in 1957, and carefully sewn to a card board backer.
